The multiple assassination attempts against Donald Trump have Americans demanding answers.
Fingers are pointing in the Democrats’ direction.
And the damning question Chuck Schumer must now answer about the WHCD assassination attempt.
As Swamp Digest reports:
31-year-old Cole Allen attempted to storm the ballroom hosting the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner while armed with firearms and knives.
President Trump was in attendance,
Allen allegedly shot a police officer before law enforcement took him down.
Later, CBS reported that Allen told police his goal was to shoot Trump administration officials.
A common theme after the incident was the event’s poor security.
“Attendee tells me: No real ID checks. Magnatometers 60 ft or so from ballroom doors. Protection teams didn’t seem to know where their protectees were sitting. The place was so packed, and with people on the ground taking cover, it took protection teams a while to get to their protectees,” conservative commentator Jack Posobiec wrote on X.
Voice of America head Kari Lake also questioned the lax protection protocols.
“I can’t believe how lax the security was at the White House correspondents’ dinner tonight. Upon entering, nobody asked to visibly INSPECT my ticket nor asked for my photo identification. All one had to do was flash what appeared to be a ticket, and they were fine with that. When you consider you are entering a roomful of fake news media —90% of whom hate the President, you would think they would have better security. This is what happened when what sounded like gunfire erupted,” Lake wrote on social media.
Breitbart pointed at Department of Homeland Security, which houses the Secret Service, has been shut down for 70 days as Chuck Schumer and his fellow Senate Democrats refuse to fund the agency in a bid to end President Trump’s mass deportations.
“An important point to consider, especially considering the complaints on security tonight. The Department of Homeland Security, which houses the Secret Service, has been left unfunded by Congress for 70 days after Senate Democrats reversed course on an agreement to fund the government. Trump has jumped through hoops to ensure as many employees as possible can get paid while the department is unfunded, and he has resorted to instructing Congress to go through the timely process of budget reconciliation to fund ICE and CBP, which Democrats have refused to fund, as part of a strategy to ensure the entire department is funded,” Breitbart’s Bradley Jaye wrote.
“The entire department is stretched to the max, and morale is unquestionably suffering due to the concerns about funding and paychecks as well as the unrelenting attacks on these public servants from Democrats,” Jaye added.
This episode will likely put pressure on Schumer and Senate Democrats to end the shutdown and fund Homeland Security.
