President Trump understands the power of words.
The anti-Trump left now does too.
And Donald Trump changed history by speaking one sentence.
As Swamp Digest reports:
Democrats credit the George Floyd insurrection in the summer of 2020 for helping turn the country against President Trump.
The left tried to recreate that chaos and violence following an ICE agent fatally shooting a leftist agitator while she committed an act of domestic terrorism by attempting to run him over with her car.
Democrats are trying to smear ICE agents as Nazis and Trump as a fascist for carrying out his signature campaign promise of mass deportations.
As more video footage emerged showing that the agent acted in self-defense, leftist militias ratcheted up their acts of violence.
Journalist Nick Sortor posted shocking videos to social media of left-wing militants smashing into federal weapons lockers to loot firearms and using tow ropes to destroy vehicles.
Minneapolis police failed to respond to this insurrection.
President Trump wasn’t about to oversee a repeat of 2020 and posted on Truth Social that if the Democrat Mayor Jacob Frey doesn’t get the situation under control, he will invoke the Insurrection Act and deploy federal troopsto quell the violence.
“If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don’t obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote.
Mayor Frey didn’t take the hint and instead blamed Trump and ICE – and not the rioters – for the violence.
“Minnesota needs ICE to leave, not an escalation that brings additional federal troops beyond the 3,000 already here. The mayor’s priority is keeping local law enforcement focused on public safety, not diverted by federal overreach,” a statement from Frey’s office read.
