RINO Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy joined the Democrats in the January 6 impeachment hoax.

Cassidy met his fate at the hands of the voters.

And Bill Cassidy voted to impeach Trump and got steamrolled in this stunning defeat.

Bill Cassidy voted to convict Trump in the January 6 impeachment hoax and spread the lie that Trump incited an insurrection.

Cassidy then claimed Republican voters would eventually agree with him that Trump was unfit to hold office.

In President Trump’s second term, Cassidy devoted himself to sabotaging Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s push for medical freedom and parental rights by lowering the mandated schedule of vaccines for children from 72 to 17.

President Trump finally had enough and endorsed Congressman Julie Letlow to challenge Cassidy in the primary.

Republican voters clearly resented a RINO like Cassidy voting to convict Trump in a Democrat impeachment hoax and undermining key policy priorities, because when primary day came, Cassidy finished a humiliating third behind Letlow and State Treasurer John Fleming, both of whom will advance to a runoff.

After securing revenge against Cassidy, Trump gloated on Truth Social.

“Bill Cassidy, after falsely using his “relationship” with me during his political career, and winning Elections because of it, voted to impeach me on preposterous charges that were fake then, and now, are criminally insane! His disloyalty to the man who got him elected is now a part of legend, and it’s nice to see that his political career is OVER! I’d like to thank the Great People of the State of Louisiana, and this Big Victory will only make me work even harder for your success, and all that comes with it. I LOVE YOU ALL. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote.

In a speech following his defeat, Cassidy kept whining about Trump and January 6, claiming he was right to join the Democrats in a witch hunt the left ultimately used to try to jail Trump.

“Let me just set the record straight: Our country is not about one individual. It is about the welfare of all Americans and about our Constitution. And it is the welfare of my people and my state and my country and my Constitution to which I am loyal. And if someone doesn’t understand that and attempts to control others by using the levers of power, they’re about serving themselves. They’re not about serving us. And that person is not qualified to be a leader,” Cassidy ranted.

“When you participate in democracy, sometimes it doesn’t turn out the way you want it to. But you don’t pout, you don’t whine, you don’t claim the election was stolen, you don’t find a reason, you don’t manufacture some excuse, you thank the voters for the privilege of representing the state or the country for as long as you’ve had that privilege, and that’s what I’m doing right now,” Cassidy concluded.
