President Trump pledged total victory over Iran.

Iran never knew what hit it.

And Trump just promised one bold move that Iran never saw coming.

Donald Trump won control over the Republican Party and two terms as President by campaigning against the failed forever wars in the Middle East.

When President Trump initiated the war with Iran, he and other officials like Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth promised Americans that Trump would avoid an endless quagmire like the ones in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Trump himself set the timeline for the war at 4-6 weeks.

Four weeks into the war, President Trump assured Americans that the time frame was still intact as America made massive progress towards achieving the military objectives he laid out at the start of the war.

“We are getting very close to meeting our objectives as we consider winding down our great Military efforts in the Middle East with respect to the Terrorist Regime of Iran: (1) Completely degrading Iranian Missile Capability, Launchers, and everything else about them. (2) Destroying Iran’s Defense Industrial Base. (3) Eliminating their Navy and Air Force, including Anti-Aircraft Weaponry. (4) Never allowing Iran to get even close to Nuclear Capability, and always being in a position where the U.S.A. can quickly and powerfully react to such a situation, should it take place. (5) Protecting, at the highest level, our Middle Eastern Allies, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and others,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

One of the sticking points is that Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz.

20 percent of the world’s oil flows through the strait, and gas in the United States jumped 80 cents per gallon after Iran shut down Hormuz.

Once the military reopens Hormuz, there is a question of keeping it open since Iran is using drones, rockets, and other asymmetric warfare tactics to threaten tankers.

President Trump reaffirmed America wouldn’t commit to an endless war by declaring it was the job of U.S. allies to patrol the strait since the U.S. doesn’t use any oil that passes through this waterway.

“The Hormuz Strait will have to be guarded and policed, as necessary, by other Nations who use it — The United States does not! If asked, we will help these Countries in their Hormuz efforts, but it shouldn’t be necessary once Iran’s threat is eradicated. Importantly, it will be an easy Military Operation for them,” Trump concluded.

Donald Trump built his political identity by railing against how Washington elites failed the American people by plunging the country into forever wars in the Middle East.

Trump is determined to avoid that mistake and end this war in short order with a decisive victory.
