Hannity Warned Democrats Winning Congress is the End of Trump’s Presidency
Podcaster Dave Rubin told Sean Hannity that many Americans didn’t understand the stakes of the midterm elections.
Rubin explained that while Trump was in office for two-and-a-half more years, he really only had three months left to effectively serve as President.
“People really better understand that it’s not that Trump has two-and-a-half-years left. He may only have three months left. That in essence is where we could be,” Rubin stated.
That’s because the next three months are all that is guaranteed for Trump with a GOP congress that will pass his bill and confirm his nominees,
“Good point,” Hannity stated.
Rubin warned that if Democrats win control of the House of Representatives, the next impeachment hoax kicks off on Day One.
“If the Republicans lose the House and lose the Senate — well, first, if they lose the House, he’s going to get hung up in impeachment. He will likely not be impeached. But meaning we will end up with —” Rubin began before Hannity corrected Rubin’s assertion that Democrats wouldn’t impeach Trump.
“Oh, he’ll be impeached,” Hannity replied.
What Happens Under Democrat Control
Rubin agreed and clarified that what he meant was Democrats in the House would impeach Trump, but fail to garner the 67 votes in the Senate to convict Trump and remove him from office.
But what Rubin said was the ultimate outcome of Democrats winning control of Congress spells the death knell of the MAGA agenda.
“Right, no, no, he’ll be impeached, but he probably won’t be removed from office. They’re not going to get enough votes in the Senate one way or another, or something. But the point is that the process to end these last 10 years of MAGA and everything that has happened since 2015 will begin. And then it’s not just that they will be emboldened; the crazies on the left will be emboldened,” Rubin added.
The Conservative media’s been consumed by personnel rivalries and sniping about policy towards Israel and the war with Iran.
Rubin asserted that a Democrat-run Congress would only accelerate a crackup on the right as the various factions splintered as they fought for dominance ahead of the 2028 Presidential Election as opposed to fighting for Trump’s agenda.
“Then the fighting on the right, to whatever extent we’ve already talked about it, that’s going to go completely bananas because it’s going to be like rats jumping from a ship. And then you’re going to have all these people leaving Trump and trying to pick up the pieces. It’s going to be complete chaos. So, people really better understand that. It’s not just that at this midterm, which everyone always says is the most important election of all time. Like, I don’t see how it could possibly be more important than it is right now,” Rubin continued.
Rubin is one of the people in the middle of the Civil War on the right, as he opposed Trump in 2024, but now strongly backs the war in Iran while demanding the cancellation of Trump supporters like Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson over their opposition to the war.
Without mentioning his own role in the infighting on the right, Rubin lamented that a divided GOP base was about to hand Democrats control of Congress.
“We are on the edge of handing the keys to the castle to people who are telling us they want to burn the castle down,” Rubin concluded, “And we’re about to hand them the keys to do it.”
