That ended when Barack Obama launched his illegal wars in Syria and Libya.
The Democrats’ metamorphosis into the war party accelerated when Trump became president and the deep state as well as woke generals like Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley sought to undermine his America First foreign policy.
And the transformation is complete after Joe Biden spent the last two years escalating the war in Ukraine to the point that the world came the closest it’s ever been to the use of nuclear weapons since 1945.
Nancy Pelosi is one of the loudest cheerleaders in Congress for pumping another $61 billion in taxpayer money towards Joe Biden’s war to secure the border in Ukraine.
Pelosi tried to claim Ukraine is a democracy despite the Ukrainians interfering in the 2016 election to hurt Donald Trump, and President Volodymyr Zelensky closing Christian churches and refusing to hold elections.
“It is very important busy time for all of us to talk about democracy. Their dysfunction is an impediment to democracy. In Ukraine we are really at a very critical place we have been for a while. They keep saying they are going to do it. We’ll do it when we come back, we will do it next week and all the rest. But this is very serious. Ukraine, the people of Ukraine have been so courageous they fought for their democracy and doing so for democracy writ large,” Pelosi told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.
Pelosi even revived the Russia collusion hoax, falsely claiming Donald Trump and his supporters were repeating Russian propaganda by opposing Joe Biden’s latest taxpayer giveaway to Ukraine.
“The world has understood that Russia should not be violating the sovereignty and the borders of Ukraine. The Congress of the United States was hung up by a Putin caucus as their own leadership have said, chairs of committees have said Russian propaganda has overtaken the Republican caucus in the House of Representatives,” Pelosi added.
“People have lost their lives in the weeks and months that we have just delayed all of this. And in terms of our reputation in the world, it is greatly diminished by what is happening in the House of Representatives,” Pelosi continued.
Donald Trump campaigned on a promise to end the war in Ukraine next year should he win the election.
Joe Biden is proposing a taxpayer-funded forever war in Ukraine.
And Nancy Pelosi is right there with him.
