Megyn Kelly’s podcast is popular among Trump supporters.
Kelly is never one to hold her tongue,
And Megyn Kelly shocked MAGA with one bombshell video.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Many Trump supporters back the President’s decision to go to war with Iran.
Trump’s foreign policy successes earned him the benefit of the doubt in the minds of millions of Americans.
However, some in MAGA are asking questions about the war.
Megyn Kelly was uneasy with President Trump’s call to go to war with Iran.
In a monologue on her show, Kelly said that she supports Trump, is close to his administration, is praying for the safety of troops in harm’s way, but has questions about the decision to go to war.
“I support the President… But that does not mean you have to accept another Middle East war without question. And anybody who tells you that can SUCK IT,” Kelly stated.
But Kelly questioned if this war was actually in America’s interests.
Kelly said the troops were her number one concern and that Americans’ opinions on the war were fluid.
“First and foremost, I, Megyn Kelly, am praying for the troops. That’s where my mind immediately went. The guys in the and the gals who have to actually carry out this mission… why again? And put their lives on the line… for whom, again? Those are the ones who are on my mind, and I prayed for them mightily yesterday and the day before, and I hope you have and will continue to as well. There are massive divisions over what we’ve done here, and people are going to change their minds over the coming days and weeks, one way or the other,” Kelly stated.
Central Command announced the deaths of four American soldiers – later revised up to six – and Kelly said she didn’t think it was acceptable that they died for a foreign country.
Kelly said she was happy for the operation that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, but said if Iran was threatening Israel, then it was Israel’s job to fight that war and not the United States’s.
“But my own feeling is no one should have to die for a foreign country. I don’t think those four service members died for the United States. I think they died for Iran or for Israel. I understand how this helps Iran perfectly well. I get it. I mean, I hope, long term, we’ll see… But they seem rather jubilant, 80% of the country does not support the Ayatollah. He was a terrible, terrible man. No one is crying that he’s dead, no normal person, but our government’s job is not to look out for Iran or for Israel. It’s to look out for us,” Kelly added.
Before the war, polls showed that fewer than 20 percent of Americans supported a war with Iran.
Kelly said the pro-Israel figures in the Republican Party were the only ones pushing for the U.S. to enter Israel’s war.
“And this feels very much to me like it is clearly Israel’s war. Mark Levin wanted it; it’s his war, Ben Shapiro, Lindsey Graham, Miriam Adelson, that’s obvious. They’re the ones who have been pushing us into this,” Kelly continued.
Trump administration officials argued there was an imminent threat of Iran attacking U.S. bases in the Middle East.
Kelly claimed that it didn’t make sense that Iran would attack, knowing the U.S. staged the largest military buildup in the Middle East since 2003 and would obliterate them for doing so.
“Does that make any sense to you? Stop and think about it for a minute. I’m close to this administration in many ways as well, but I don’t allow them to use me like a fool. Does it make any sense to you that Iran was planning preemptive strikes against our civilians and us, knowing full well of the massive military assets we had moved into the region, the aircraft carriers and so on? Obviously, it doesn’t,” Kelly concluded.
President Trump is the most successful foreign policy President since Ronald Reagan.
The decision to strike Iran was the biggest of his two terms in office.
There is a debate among some Trump supporters about the move.
Many agree with the President.
Others, like Megyn Kelly, are more cautious about the idea of another war in the Middle East.
