Megyn Kelly saw that the latest shoe to drop in the Epstein files was a bad one.

Kelly had to make her move.

And Megyn Kelly blew the whistle on this Epstein scandal that Trump needs to hear.

As American Media Watchdog reports:

President Trump called the Epstein files a “Democrat hoax” since the files proved his innocence about how he cut Epstein off and even tried to help law enforcement put Epstein in prison.

But Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick’s dishonesty about his relationship with Epstein threatened to provide the media a lifeline to keep this hoax alive.

Lutnick claimed he cut ties with Epstein in 2005 over a “disgusting” incident.

The files revealed Lutnick brought his wife and children to Epstein’s “Pedophile Island” in 2012, even after Epstein pled guilty to sex crimes with a minor.

Megyn Kelly was outraged that Lutnick’s dishonesty could allow the media to attack President Trump and that Lutnick should face consequences.

“Why would you be so reckless, and where’s your damn apology?” Kelly exclaimed.

Kelly also compared Lutnick to James Clapper, Barack Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, who lied to Congress about Obama illegally spying on Americans.

“You make yourself into a James Clapper. This is supposed to be a more transparent administration, and what President Trump doesn’t need is a liar in the position of commerce secretary, about something as serious as your connections with Jeffrey Epstein, and it was such a bald-faced lie.”

Epstein’s island was where he committed hideous sex crimes, and Kelly couldn’t believe that not only did Lutnick go into business with Epstein, but that he took his kids to “Pedophile Island.”

“Like, not only was he in a room with him, he went to the guy’s island! He started a business with him, reports CBS! I mean, about as bold as you could get,” Kelly added.

Kelly said that at the very least, Lutnick owes an apology to New York Post columnist Miranda Devine for falsely telling her that he ended his relationship with Epstein in 2005.

“I’m not saying he should step down, he shouldn’t step down, but he should take responsibility for his lie,” Kelly argued. “Not just to anybody, but to [New York Post podcaster] Miranda Devine, who most of us on the right love and respect. He humiliated her, lied right to her face, and he had to have known at some level this was going to come out, and he owes her an apology, and he owes the rest of us an apology for lying to our faces.”

Kelly said Lutnick’s remaining in his job was untenable because she could no longer trust him to tell the truth.

“I will tell you, it’s fine if he doesn’t step down– I don’t believe one word that comes out of his mouth from this point forward. Not one word. Not one word,” Kelly concluded.
