Left-wing activist Don Lemon pushed the envelope on his Trump derangement.
That ended up getting Lemon in a whole heap of trouble.
And Don Lemon made one bad choice that cost him this awful price.
As Swamp Digest reports:
The leftist agitators falsely accused the church’s priest of cooperating with ICE as part of their deportation operation in Minneapolis.
Department of Justice Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon promised Lemon and his band of insurgents would face criminal charges.
Dhillion said prosecutors could slap Lemon with criminal charges using the Ku Klux Klan Act and the FACE Act, which make it a crime to deprive Americans of their civil rights and to obstruct their ability to worship freely.
Lemon knows he is in big trouble.
As criminal charges loom, Lemon is trying to cast himself as a crusader for social justice to gain sympathy from potential Biden judges or Democratic jurors who will oversee his case.
In another livestream with leftist podcaster Jennifer Welch, Lemon claimed the people attending the service his mob disrupted deserved it because theywere white supremacists.
“I think that there is obviously… racism in it. The whole point of it is that they’re trying to detain people on the streets because of accents and the color of their skin, and they’re also targeting people of color and black people as well as brown people,” Lemon stated. “So there is a certain degree of racism there, and there’s a certain degree of entitlement.”
“I think people who are you know in the religious groups like that, it’s not the type of Christianity that I practice, but I think that they’re entitled and that that entitlement comes from supremacy, white supremacy, and they think that this country was built for them, that it is a Christian country, when actually we left England because we wanted religious freedom,” Lemon added. “It’s religious freedom, but only if you’re a Christian and only if you’re a white male, pretty much.”
Democrats are trying to bully President Trump into backing off from mass deportations and to turn the country against the administration by creating George Floyd levels of civil unrest.
Don Lemon crossed a line with his actions, and now he knows he will likely have to fight a legal battle in the court of public opinion.
