The Democrat Party’s favorite podcast keeps treating Charlie Kirk’s murder like open-mic night.

Its fans call it fearless, and would-be Democrat presidents keep lining up for a seat.

And Jennifer Welch just read one sick post aloud that kept the studio howling.

A Midterm Victory Lap Took a Detour Through a Cemetery

Jennifer Welch and Angie “Pumps” Sullivan turned I’ve Had It into one of the loudest megaphones on the Left. After the midterms, they used that megaphone to rub salt in every conservative wound they could find.

They titled their November 5 episode “Drinking MAGA Tears.” The two Oklahoma City hosts spent it reading social media posts that gloated over Democrat wins and ridiculed conservatives.

Then Welch got to this one: “We’re digging up Charlie Kirk and doing it again.”

Sit with that for a second. Somebody online joked about pulling a murdered husband and father of two out of his grave so a killer could finish him off a second time.

Welch didn’t scroll past it. She and Sullivan lowered their heads and laughed for more than 20 seconds, according to Breitbart’s account of the episode. When they finally came up for air, both women offered the same two words: “No comment.”

Maybe the laughter started as nerves. But 20 seconds is a long time for nerves. Count it out sometime, slowly, and picture Erika Kirk listening.

The ‘MAGA Family’ Alibi Falls Apart on Contact

And the hosts weren’t finished. Sullivan steered the conversation to Tyler Robinson, the man prosecutors charged in the killing.

“Other than he was shot by somebody that was super MAGA family,” Sullivan said.

“He was shot by a MAGA person,” Welch added.

“Right,” came the reply. “So do that with what you will.” The pair closed the exchange with one more swipe at a “white MAGA family.”

So here’s what the record actually shows. Robinson registered to vote without a declared party affiliation. His parents registered as Republicans, and a 23-year-old man doesn’t inherit his parents’ voter cards like a set of old golf clubs.

But the sharpest rebuttal to the hosts came from Robinson’s own mother. She told police her son had grown more politically engaged and increasingly supportive of gay and transgender rights. She also told investigators he had started dating his transgender roommate, which caused friction with relatives, especially his father. Prosecutors described father and son as holding different political views.

None of that sounds like a red-hat rally. By his own mother’s account, the accused gunman drifted away from his family’s politics, not toward them. Welch and Sullivan skipped every word of it.

Prosecutors charged Robinson with seven counts, including aggravated murder, and they plan to seek the death penalty. Judge Tony Graf bound him over for trial on all seven, Robinson pleaded not guilty, and the judge plans to take up a trial schedule at a November 9 hearing. The law presumes Robinson innocent until a jury decides otherwise.

That presumption belongs to a defendant in a courtroom, though. It doesn’t hand two podcasters a license to rewrite a family’s politics for a laugh line.

This Wasn’t a First Offense

A gunman shot Kirk on September 10, 2025, while he spoke at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University in Orem. He was 31 years old.

Welch keeps circling back to that day like a vulture over a highway. In October 2025, she laughed while watching footage of a “No Kings” protester who said she was glad Kirk died, then told Democrats they needed to learn to cater to voters like that, Fox News reported. Later, in an interview with Don Lemon, she claimed Kirk “justified his death” by defending the Second Amendment.

She went after his widow, too. Welch branded Erika Kirk an “opportunistic grifter” and declared, “This woman should be kicked to the curb.” The two hosts also floated the notion that Donald Trump staged the attempt on his own life in Butler, according to Fox News.

Picture the roles reversed. A conservative podcast laughs for 20 seconds at a joke about exhuming a slain Democrat activist, then pins the killing on a “Democrat family” the facts don’t support. Every network would lead with it, and every Democrat who ever sat in that guest chair would sprint to a microphone to condemn it.

Democrats Keep Pulling Up a Chair at This Table

That guest chair matters, because I’ve Had It isn’t some fringe livestream with 40 viewers and a ring light.

Barack Obama sat down with the hosts in September 2024. Fox News Digital tallied a guest list that includes House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), US Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), US Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), US Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA), and US Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT). Possible 2028 contenders Gavin Newsom, Wes Moore, JB Pritzker, and Andy Beshear all made the trip as well.

A media executive told Fox News Digital the show piled up 146 million views over a 90-day stretch. The Washington Post ran a glowing profile casting the show as a powerhouse that political strategists can’t manufacture.

And Welch has told the party exactly what she expects in return. She warned the Democrat establishment it could either get on board with her brand of politics or face the same treatment she dishes out to MAGA. After predicting a blue wave, she suggested Democrats would prosecute Trump and his allies once they grabbed power, Fox News reported.

Now Democrats hold that power in Congress. The incoming class rode a wave of socialist promises, and the activists cheering loudest will set the tone for it, not the handful of self-described moderates who will spend the next two years pretending not to hear them. A base that laughs at a grave-robbing joke isn’t going to ask its new committee chairmen to go easy with the subpoena pens.

But nobody in Democrat leadership has said a word about the laughter. Silence from the people who keep booking interviews with these hosts says plenty on its own.

The Left Has Run This Blame Game Before

The “MAGA family” line follows an old script. When political violence strikes a conservative, somebody on the Left goes hunting for a way to hang it on the Right anyway.

Kirk’s murder sits on a lengthening list. Would-be assassins went after Donald Trump twice in 2024. Police arrested an armed man near Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home in June 2022. Each time, a chorus on the Left rushed to change the subject.

The pattern runs deeper than most Americans remember. After John F Kennedy died in Dallas, leading journalists and politicians blamed a climate of hate stirred up by the Right. Chief Justice Earl Warren pointed at bigots. Senate Majority Leader Mike Mansfield’s eulogy blamed bigotry, hatred, and prejudice. The Soviet press blamed “rightists” within hours.

Then the facts showed up. The man police arrested, Lee Harvey Oswald, called himself a Marxist and admired Fidel Castro. The Warren Commission later concluded he had tried to kill a right-wing retired general, Edwin Walker, months before he aimed at the President.

Welch and Sullivan probably never cracked a history book on 1963. They didn’t need one. All they needed was the police account of what Tyler Robinson’s mother said about her own son.

In November 1963, the Chief Justice of the United States blamed bigots for John F Kennedy’s murder. The man in custody had defected to the Soviet Union four years earlier.
