President Trump will answer any question at any time.

But no one was prepared for this.

And a reporter asked Trump if God is on America’s side. His answer will move you to tears.

President Trump faced reporters after setting a 48-hour deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or else the American military would obliterate Iran’s power plants and plunge the country into the Stone Age.

Trump sent out his Truth Social, announcing the final deadline for Iran to agree to terms on Easter Sunday.

During the press conference, a liberal media reporter tried to trap Trump with a question about God.

“Do you believe God supports the United States’s actions in this war?” the reporter asked.

Trump replied that God was a God of peace and justice and would want to see the war ended.

“I do, because God is good,” Trump replied. “God is good, and God wants to see people taken care of.”

Trump went on to say that God doesn’t like war or human suffering and that he shared that opposition to misery and fake news media coverage that claimed he was reveling in the war was a lie.

“God doesn’t like what’s happening. I don’t like what’s happening. Everyone says I enjoy it — I don’t enjoy this…. I don’t like seeing people killed,” Trump added.

Pope Leo’s Palm Sunday message spurred the question.

Speaking at the Vatican’s Palm Sunday Mass, Leo declared that Jesus would reject the prayers of Trump and other world leaders who supported the Iran War because it failed the Church’s just war doctrine.

“This is our God: Jesus, King of Peace, who rejects war, whom no one can use to justify war,” Leo declared.

“(Jesus) does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war, but rejects them, saying: ‘Even though you make many prayers, I will not listen: your hands are full of blood’,” Leo added, citing the Bible passage Isaiah 1:15.

Trump then went on to say that the Iranian people supported the war and wanted it to continue in the hopes of winning their freedom from the terrorist regime currently controlling the country.

“We’ve had numerous intercepts — ‘Please keep bombing’ — bombs that are dropping near their homes. ‘Please keep bombing. Do it.’ And these are people that are living where the bombs are exploding,” Trump declared. “And [when] we’re not hitting those areas, they’re saying, ‘Please come back, come back, come back!’”

Leaders have entwined matters of faith and war dating back thousands of years.

President Trump understands that God hates war, but that Trump is doing what he believes is the right thing and that God will support leaders who act in the interest of peace and justice.
