But the big question hanging over the Democratic 2028 Presidential primary is whether Kamaka would actually launch a third White House bid.
If Kamala did choose to run, she would instantly vault to the top as the frontrunner for the nomination.
As always with politicians, their actions tell the tale.
Kamala Harris is an establishment figure.
And the energy on thef the left is with the Third World Marxists, embodied by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
Mamdani proved this when the three socialists he endorsed in New York Congressional primaries, Brad Lander, Claire Valdez, and Darializa Avila Chevalier, ran the table.Â
The communist left’s control over the Democrat Party was further cemented when socialist Melat Kiros defeated 15-term Colorado Democrat Congresswoman Diana DeGette in a primary.
And any doubt that Kamala Harris was running in 2028 evaporated when Axios reported that Kamala sought out Mamdani in a bid to make peace with the communist left.
“Kamala Harris privately called New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani last week and has been holding lengthy, closed-door meetings with other prominent progressives — including pro-Palestinian activists.
It’s the latest sign the former vice president is laying the groundwork for a potential White House run in 2028 — and looking to strengthen or repair her relationships with left-wing Democrats,” Axios reported.
Kamala also met with the leader of the Uncommitted Movement, the pro-Palestinian Democrat who refused to vote for Joe Biden in the 2024 Michigan Democratic primary because Biden supported Israel’s war in Gaza.
“Last week in Detroit, Harris met with a co-founder of the Uncommitted Movement, Abbas Alawieh, who’s now running as a Democrat for a Michigan state Senate seat. He has said he voted for Harris in 2024,” Axios added.
In her book, “107 Days,” Kamala bemoaned the fact that Biden wed his administration to Bibi Netanyahu and didn’t condemn how Israel prosecuted the war in Gaza
“He couldn’t do it: while [Biden] could passionately state, ‘I am a Zionist,’ his remarks about innocent Palestinians came off as inadequate and forced,” Kamala wrote.
Kamala hasn’t said what she intends to do in 2028.
But Kamala doesn’t need to make any announcements.
Kamala’s actions tell the story.
