The entire Democrat Party flew into damage control mode.

Their big plans for 2026 are now left in tatters.

And the Iowa congressional race that could flip the House just got a satanic wedding scandal.

As Swamp Digest reports:

The margins in the House are so narrow that, once, a race could decide which party controls the majority.

Democrats thought they had a prime pickup opportunity in Iowa’s Third Congressional District, running Lutheran minister Sarah Trone Garriott against Republican incumbent Zach Nunn.

But Nunn’s campaign is under siege after a video surfaced from 2023 where she explained that the first wedding she ever officiated was for two satanists.

“He asked me to pick the Scriptures,” Trone Garriott recounted the senior pastor asking when confronted with marrying two satanists. “Irritated, I flipped through the Bible. Should I pick something with Satan in it to make them feel more at home?”

Trone Garriott recalled how she settled on the traditional reading anyone would hear at a Lutheran wedding.

“Eventually, I just put the bookmark in at 1 Corinthians 13,” Trone Garriott added. “If you have ever been to a Christian wedding, you’ve probably heard this Scripture. All they would get from me was [a] basic Lutheran wedding.”

Trone Garriott then claimed the Apostle Paul would have approved of his words being used to bless the union of two satanists who reject Christ and seek to destroy His church.

“When the Apostle Paul wrote these words, he certainly never had in mind a small town in West Virginia, two satanists and a Lutheran pastor in training,” Trone Garriott continued. “But Paul knew people, and people haven’t changed that much over the centuries. It is hard to love one another. We often need to be reminded how.”

Nunn told Fox News this episode proved Trone Garriott was completely out of touch with the lives of Americans who live in the Christian heartland of America.

“She’s made it clear that the values Iowa families live by every single day are the ones she’s running against,” Nunn stated.

Trone Garriott went on to say that she married two individuals, one of whom had Satan’s pentagram symbol tattooed on his face, even though they hated everything Jesus stood for.

“These people could barely stand us. They didn’t believe in or really have any respect for what mattered to us,” Trone Garriott remarked.

Trone Garriott then claimed these satanists were a loving couple that everyone should grant grace to.

“Was he getting teary?” Trone Garriott told the crowd. “They had a lot of baggage between the two of them, but there was no denying how they were looking at each other.”

Trone Garriott also made it clear she never tried to steer these two away from the devil and towards Christ.

“So what happened to that couple? I have no idea,” Trone Garriott admitted. “We never saw them again.”

Trone Garriott’s campaign defended her marrying satanists, claiming blessing two devil worshippers was in keeping with Jesus’ message.

“Like so many Iowa Christians, Sarah’s faith calls her to love thy neighbor, and she follows Jesus’ example of embodying his grace for everyone,” the statement from Trone Garriott’s campaign read.
