RINO Texas Congressman Tony Gonzales announced he was ending his re-election campaign amid a series of bombshells about his affair with former saffer Regina Santos-Aviles, who took her own life last September by setting herself on fire.

Gonzales finished in second in his primary to pro-Trump challenger, Brandon Herrera.
Conservatives sought to oust Gonzales over his support for amnesty, his vote for Joe Biden’s gun confiscation bill, and his comments comparing Trump supporters to the KKK.
The race was headed for a May runoff, but Republican leaders asked Gonzales to step aside after a newsoutlet published text messages showing Gonzales asking Santon-Aviles for risque pictures and asking her what her favorite sexual positions were.
And the final nail in the coffin for Gonzales came in a radio interview where he tried to save his career by accusing Santon-Aviles’ widower and trying to extort him.
“Within hours [of Santos-Aviles’s death], her estranged husband reached out to our office and asked, within hours, asked about her death benefits and how he could gain access to her retirement fund. […] It was eerie. It was creepy. […] A few months later, his criminal defense attorney, which I also thought was weird, not a civil offense attorney, his criminal defense attorney reaches out and essentially asks me for money or else, right?” Gonzales stated.
“They asked for $300,000. The thing is, I don’t have $300,000. And if I did have $300,000, I’m not going to give it to somebody who’s trying to shake me down. So, this was always about money. Fast forward again. Now, now you add politics into it, right? All this thing was relayed, you know, the beginning of early voting. So, this was all coordinated. It was intentional,” Gonzales added.
Gonzales also smeared the widower by claiming he was a homosexual.
“In the police report, this is specifically from the police report, ‘The female subject with burn injuries then stated her husband is gay and having an affair with her best friend,’” Gonzales concluded. “I wonder if that had something to do with her tragic passing.”
Trump supporters opposed Gonzales, seeing him as an establishment RINO who fought conservatives at every turn.
Conservatives believe Herrera will serve as a solid vote for the Trump agenda.
