The 2026 election just got turned upside down.
A key Congressional race flipped on a dime.
And one shocking sex scandal may end up in court after this stunning threat.
RINO Congressman Tony Gonzalez supports amnesty, compared Trump supporters to the KKK, and voted for Joe Biden’s law funding red flag gun confiscation schemes.
Gonzalez is facing a primary challenge from conservative activist Brandon Herrera.
That race is now a toss-up after the husband of the woman who killed herself after allegedly having an affair with Gonzalez stepped forward.
Regina Santos-Aviles worked as a staffer for Gonzalez.
Last September, Aviles doused herself in gasoline and litherself on fire.
Aviles’ husband, Adrian, said hiswife took her own life after Gonzalez froze her out after she texted other staff members about the affair.
In a post on social media, Gonzalez claimed Adrian Aviles tried to “blackmail” him.
Aviles’s attorney, Robert Berrer, told a local news outlet that Aviles was now considering a defamation suit since Gonzalez falsely accused him of committing a crime.
“We’re going to explore any potential legal issues, legal remedies,” Barrera said in an interview with News 4/Fox SA.
Aviles then spoke out on social media, slamming Gonzalez as a desperate liar trying to save his political career.
“We have never blackmailed anyone. What we’ve seen instead is a consistent pattern of evasion, refusal to take accountability, and outright lies to protect your image,” Aviles’s post on X began.
Aviles explained that he held back the video footage from the family garage when Regina took her own life and the full police report because he didn’t want his 8-year-old son to come across them.
“You’re a classic case of a two-faced politician who says whatever is convenient to save face. We chose to hold back the full police report and body cam footage for one reason only: it shows my wife suffering severe burns in horrific detail. I will not allow that graphic material to become accessible to our 8-year-old son in the future when he is old enough to search for or come across it,” Aviles added.
Aviles went on to say that no exonerating information for Gonzalez could be found.
“Nothing in that police report protects you; that decision is about protecting our child’s well-being, not concealing anything improper. Your actions have been disgraceful, and you continue to mislead your constituents with falsehoods,” Aviles continued.
Aviles made it clear that he blames Gonzalez for his wife’s death and that he will eventually face accountability.
“You may avoid responsibility here on earth, but one day you will answer to a higher authority. Today, though, you still answer to the people you represent—people who deserve the truth, not more deception,” Aviles concluded.
